A great cultural experience awaits the visitor who takes the time to explore this stretch of road which starts in the coastal village of Tathra, winds its way to the rolling hills of Tanja and culminates in the port village of Bermagui.
David's Studio Gallery is located just south of Tathra off the Sapphire Coast Road. A local artist with his own unique style, well known for his Tathra Wharf paintings, prints and cards, and artworks that are colourful, often humorous, contemporary art featuring animals, birds, people, ocean or inland Australian landscapes. Essential Object is the gallery at the Tathra Wharf owned by Tanja artist, Poppy Benton. Local contemporary painting, sculpture, ceramics, metal, jewellery, prints, textiles and objects. The Wharf Locavore Coffee Bar offers a taste of local produce before you set off on your way. Open everyday except Wednesday from 8:00am.
